THE UNICORN RANCH HOME

Unicorns and rainbows? No, the Unicorn Ranch is a real ranch and our client’s home was a unicorn of a project. The ranch hosts chickens, delicious eggs, honeybees, an apple orchard, black sheep, and a wonderful protector, a Great Pyrenees named Purple. The home was a challenge from architecture to design to construction.  Paraphrasing, “Can we do Scandinavian minimalist, with a touch of Japandi, and keep my love for a little bling?” The result was a Unicorn Ranch. From a sleek black Scandinavian exterior with walls of windows and pine tar and linseed oil treated cedar siding, to purple knobs on the custom BlueStar Range, the home is filled with one-of-a-kind elements. We can’t say enough about the collaboration with our clients and trades to create this black gem.
